Are your products safe for both dogs and cats?
Yes — TUDCA Shield and Daily Detox are dosed by weight for both dogs and cats, with cats and small pets under 25 lbs using the smallest dosing tier. Longevity+ is also formulated for dogs and cats.
Are your products safe for horses or small animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds?
Yes, with guidance. TUDCA, humic acid, fulvic acid, and shilajit have research support across many species — we focus on dogs and cats simply because they're our most popular market. Many practitioners report good results using a dog-sized dose (or roughly double) for horses. Because Daily Detox and opened TUDCA Shield capsules are powders, dosing scales down easily for small animals — a little goes a long way. Start low and check with a knowledgeable vet or practitioner.
Do you sell on Amazon?
No. We sell directly at petamplife.com and through independent pet boutiques, natural pet retailers, and veterinary practices. We maintain strict pricing (MAP) across all our retail partners.
DOSING
How do I dose TUDCA Shield?
TUDCA Shield is a capsule, given daily with food. Capsules can be opened and the powder mixed into food or micro-dosed — helpful for small animals or sensitive pets. Small dogs & cats (up to 25 lbs): 1 capsule/day. Medium dogs (25–50 lbs): 2 capsules/day. Large dogs (50+ lbs): 3 capsules/day.
How do I dose Daily Detox?
Daily Detox is a powder mixed into food once daily (dose can be split between meals). Small pets & cats (up to 25 lbs): 1 scoop. Medium pets (25–50 lbs): 2 scoops. Large pets (50+ lbs): 3 scoops. For horses, many practitioners use a large-dog dose or double; for very small animals, start with just a pinch.
How do I dose Longevity+?
Longevity+ is a powder mixed into food once daily (dose can be split between meals). Small pets & cats (up to 25 lbs): 1 scoop. Medium pets (25–50 lbs): 2 scoops. Large pets (50+ lbs): 3 scoops.
Can I give my dog/cat all three products at once?
Yes — they're designed to complement each other as a daily protocol (TUDCA Shield opens drainage pathways, Daily Detox binds and helps eliminate, Longevity+ supports cellular energy). Many pet parents give all three daily. Introduce new supplements one at a time if you want to watch for any reaction.
What if I miss a dose or give too much?
A missed day isn't a concern — just resume the normal daily amount the next day. Don't double up to "catch up." If you're ever worried about how much was given, contact your veterinarian.
Can I split the dose between morning and evening?
Yes, doses can be divided between meals — that's often easier for picky eaters or bigger dogs taking multiple capsules/scoops.

What's in TUDCA Shield?
TUDCA (Tauroursodeoxycholic Acid), FulvicDrive Nano Blend (Shilajit Extract, 40% fulvic acid), N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC), Glycine, and Melatonin — 465mg of actives per capsule. Inactive ingredients are always fully disclosed on the label — "Nothing Hidden" is our standard.
What's in Daily Detox?
Humic Acid, Shilajit Extract (40% fulvic acid), Modified Citrus Pectin, and Glycine — 975mg per scoop. No activated charcoal: charcoal aggressively binds everything including medications, while our gentler binders don't compete as aggressively with meds. Always check with your vet if your pet takes medication.
What's in Longevity+?
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10), Resveratrol, FulvicDrive Nano Blend, and Glycine + NAC (GlyNAC) — 515mg per scoop. No turmeric.
Where does the TUDCA come from — is it sourced from animal bile?
No — our TUDCA is sourced without toxic animal bile, a meaningful differentiator versus some other TUDCA sources.
What does FulvicDrive Nano Blend do?
It's our proprietary delivery system (Shilajit Extract, 40% fulvic acid) designed to help carry active ingredients to the cellular level for better uptake.
Are your ingredients human-grade?
Yes, and we manufacture in a GMP-certified facility with full ingredient transparency on every label.
Do your products contain fillers?
We don't use unnecessary fillers, and every ingredient is disclosed on the label. Our standard is "Nothing Hidden": full transparency rather than a "zero fillers" claim.
SAFETY & SUITABILITY
Is this safe for my puppy or kitten?
Talk to your veterinarian before starting any supplement in a young, growing pet. Our products are formulated for adult maintenance use; a vet can advise on timing for puppies/kittens.
Is this safe for a senior pet?
Yes — senior pets are one of the primary groups our products are formulated for, especially TUDCA Shield (liver support) and Longevity+ (cellular energy and healthy aging support).
Is this safe for a pregnant or nursing pet?

My pet is on medication — is it safe to add these?
Always consult your veterinarian before starting a new supplement if your pet is on medication or has a diagnosed health condition. Daily Detox uses gentle binders (not activated charcoal), so it doesn't compete as aggressively with medications the way charcoal can — but a vet check-in is still the right move, especially around timing.
Can cats and dogs in the same household share a product?
Yes — TUDCA Shield and Daily Detox are formulated for both, just dose each pet by their own weight.
Is it safe for long-term, daily use?

How long until I see a difference?
These are daily wellness supplements supporting normal function over time, not an overnight fix. Most pet parents describe it like their own daily supplements — a consistent habit rather than a one-time event, often noticing something over several weeks.
My pet seems sick or had a bad reaction — what do I do?
Please stop giving the product and contact your veterinarian right away if your pet shows any concerning signs (vomiting, lethargy, loss of appetite, etc.). Can I give my pet the same TUDCA or supplement I take myself?
No — human products are dosed for human body weight and may include other ingredients not meant for pets. Always use a pet-specific, pet-dosed product.
Is this safe for small children if I have to handle it?
Keep all supplements out of reach of children and pets not being dosed. Longevity+'s clean formula has led some customers to use it for children at a smaller dose — but that decision should run through the child's own doctor, not PetAmpLife; we only formulate and label for pets.
